Safety Systems Corporation is a supplier of Tactical equipment that supports the North American State Procurement Officials (NASPO) HAZARDOUS INCIDENT RESPONSE EQUIPMENT (HIRE) CONTRACT. We have served all local, state and Federal government agencies. Since our inception in 1984.

The HAZARDOUS INCIDENT RESPONSE EQUIPMENT (HIRE) CONTRACT covers a broad spectrum of domestic preparedness equipment. Safety Systems as a certified HIRE contract holder provides and services equipment in the following broad categories:

• Personal Protection Equipment
• CBRN Respirators and Hydration Interfaces
• Lion MT94 Chemical Protection Suits

Current NASPO H.I.R.E. Contract Participants: There are 18 States that currently participate in the HIRE contract:

Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota , Tennessee-(Shelby CO) and  Virginia.  (Additional states and municipalities can be added at any time. The HIRE contract allows responders in the participating states to purchase equipment from the following categories

• Personal Protection Equipment
• Explosive Device Mitigation & Remediation
• CBRNE Search & Rescue Equipment
• Detection Equipment
• Physical Security Enhancement Equipment
• Terrorism Incident Prevention
• CBRNE Logistical Support Equipment

The HIRE contract is a preferred purchasing method for many State and Local agencies for all their Hazardous Incident Response Equipment, and allows Safety Systems  to supply State and Local agencies with the Tactical gear and responsiveness that Safety Systems prides itself on.
